The rest area we stayed at last night was really busy and noisy. Despite the noise we did manage to get a decent sleep. We woke to overcast skies and light rain. What happened to the sun?????
We drove the short distance to Tallahassee and secured a campsite at the Big Oak Campground. At around Noon the temperature climbed to 65 and the sun decided to shine again. Yeah!!!

We took an hour long hike at the Lake Jackson Archaeological Site taking advantage of the warm, sunny day. It felt good not having to wear a heavy coat and gloves.

Back at the campground we sat outside and chatted. Tomorrow we will go into Tallahassee and walk around the city taking in the tourist attractions.
LOOK AT ALL THE DUCKS ( if you enlarge the picture you may be able to see all the black specks that are hundreds of ducks)
