The weather has been slowly improving with the temps rising and sun out in full bloom. We drove the 50 miles to our next stop along the Panhandle, St. Joseph Peninsula State Park.
After some debate we secured a site nestled in the Palm trees facing the sand dunes.
THE BIG SITE DEBATE - Notice View from Windshield!
The Ocean is right over the Sand Dunes so we Embarked on a Wonderful Hike, after Ron got a few winks.
The beach at St. Joseph has been designated one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. And it sure is. The sands are a pure white with icy blue waters. We walked along the beach for an hour enjoying the sounds of the waves and picking up shells.
The sand is so white because of the silica content. As we walked along the sand you could hear a squeaking sound.
Back at our site we grilled steaks and had a delicious dinner.
WHAT'S COOKING?

We walked back out to the beach to watch the sunset. It was absolutely breathtaking.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL SUNSET
A great end to a beautiful day. Tomorrow it is suppose to storm with heavy rains up to two inches but the rest of the week will be in the sixties and sunny.
