Well
We did NOT get out of town fast enough. I had as bad cold then Deb then Jewel our dog got sick. And of course to sum it all up we are going to Have a North Easter (BAD SNOW and Wind Storm) coming right up the coast we where going to go to.
2011 Florida RV trip
Well, here we are stuck in a Northeaster. Planned on leaving this morning but poor Jewel is not feeling well and was exhibiting signs of pain. We brought her to the vet yesterday and she was diagnosed with a pancreatitis. She is on pain medication and an antibiotic. So our January Florida trip has been postponed once again, or at least until Jewel is able to travel. We'll have to see what tomorrow brings.

ISSUED A WIND CHILL ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS
EVENING TO 10 AM EST THURSDAY.
NORTHERLY WINDS WILL REMAIN 10 TO 20 MPH NEAR THE COAST AND 5 TO
10 MPH INLAND TONIGHT AS POLAR HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES BUILDING
INTO THE REGION. THIS WIND WILL COMBINE WITH AIR TEMPERATURES IN
THE 20S AND 30S TO PRODUCE SEVERAL HOURS OF VERY COLD WIND CHILLS.
READINGS WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER TEENS NORTH TO THE LOWER 20S
SOUTH AND BE COLDEST DURING THE HOURS SURROUNDING SUNRISE.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A WIND CHILL ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN WIND CHILL INDEX VALUES WILL
DROP TO 35 OR LOWER...EXCEPT 25 OR LOWER ACROSS THE NATURE COAST
AND SUMTER COUNTY.
She (JEWEL) actually is doing much better. She went outside and was barking. You know she is feeling good when I had to chase her in 8 in of snow over at the Flea Market.
I guess the meds are doing their job.
